WHAT IS 5G NETWORK?
5G is the fifth generation of cellular network technology. G refers to the generation of wireless capability. Also, each generation features a break in the encoding method so that no past generation will be compatible with the upcoming one. With each new major development, the generations are evolved.
- 1G– It refers to the first generation of wireless telephone technology. Analog telecommunications are used mostly in it. They are introduced in 1981/1982.
- 2G– It was more convenient and efficient and provides data services for mobile devices, starting with SMS.
- 3G- It provides an information transfer rate of at least 200 kbit/s.
- 4G– It provides mobile broadband internet access to laptops, modems, high-definition mobile TV, cloud computing, etc. And it is used in today’s scenario except for those places where 5G is introduced. Check out this for more info List of mobile phone generations
And 5G will be 100 times faster than 4G, and 50 times more responsive.
